It’s a Cheers like bar and eatery on Beaver Ruin Road, near Lawrenceville Highway. The rusty brown paint and red brick of the building is hard to miss as you’re traveling east, commuting home. If it were just a bar, I probably wouldn’t have cared, but beer and seafood is an entirely different story and made it worth a stop.
On Wednesday they have half price oysters, and I managed three dozen before I shifted to a salad and some of their clam chowder.
Also on Wednesdays, they do trivia. Clientele are friendly, as were the bartenders. If you’re looking for a neighborhood bar in the Lilburn area, this one qualifies. Two thumbs up from this food fan.

Always wonder about this place since we ALWAYS pass by every time we go to in-law’s from Suwanee to Stone Mtn! Since I trust your taste, I will make a stop one these days…. I wonder if this place is rated R place for lunch?? My 10 and 16 year old LOVE Oyster and I would like to bring them with us….

In this place, there is booth seating in the back. And I can’t speak for lunch, since I was there in the early evening, but it was civil.
Deal is, it is a bar, with a long bar top you must pass to get to the booths. I’d be tempted to say “try it yourself” before bringing children.

I’ve regularly wondered if I should try this place with my wife, but never for more than a minute – it looks so sketchy from the street. I’m rethinking that due to this review, and am willing to give it a shot – but we’ll see if that resolve holds long enough to actually go.
